| Project Purpose | The Front Range Drought Response Task Force consists of Front Range water providers and cities in the Denver media shed. The group recently met to discuss Drought responses for systems, and to coordinate information for the public and media in anticipation for a potential drought in the coming months. The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) will be housing the drought response plans and keeping water providers and cities’ drought information current.
On a statewide level, the CWCB provides leadership through the Water Availability Task Force to monitor, forecast, mitigate and prepare for drought.
